Ali Jedi was born in 1988 in Ahvaz, located in southwest Iran.
After graduating with a degree in archeology, Ali began a freelance career in photography. Since 2015, Ali has embarked on his personal projects. Living in a land suffering the consequences of the long Iran-Iraq war and various environmental problems has deeply shaped his perception of the world around him. Ali finds himself focusing mostly on the complex, mutually constitutive human-environment relationship and tries to understand the complex aspects of the problems that trouble the society in which he lives.
